Advice: buy Sonic Generations, now!

Hey guys, thank you so much for all the support. Visiting my blog, and reading my posts really means a lot to me. Now, lets get down to business. Time is of the essence! Long story short – buy Sonic Generations (made in 2011, and still holds up). I know… It’s no secret, Sonic’s team has made an avalanche of horrible 3D games over the decades. But, they somehow got things right with Sonic Generations.

Why the sudden urgency to buy Sonic Generations?

Sega has a new game coming out – Sonic X Shadow Generations. And, whenever big studios release a new game (these days) they can shutdown the old game. In order to force all purchases and players towards the new (usually more expensive game). And, that ‘new’ game is rarely ever better. Remember what happened with Overwatch 2?

Now, I’m not saying Sega’s upcoming game – Sonic X Shadow Generations’ release will cause Sonic Generations to be taken down from Steam (by SEGA). But, it might happen. And once that happens, a lot of gamers usually regret not having purchased the previous (sometimes better) game.

Conclusion

At the very least, get the free Sonic Generations demo, and try it on for size. If you are one of those people who knows how bad Sonic’s games have been over the decades, especially the 3D ones, then, get this game. This is one of the rare good ones. And hopefully, when SEGA sees it being purchased, they won’t take it down from Steam. No official threat has been released yet, but its not uncommon for stuff like that to happen. Whenever developers want you to “move on” to their new game.
