Are you ready for Mario & Luigi: Brothership!

Let’s go! Nintendo has finally revealed that we shall be getting a brand new Mario game. The game will be titled – Mario & Luigi: Brothership! Its expected to come out on 7th of November, 2024. Hooray for Nintendo!

This upcoming game will see Mario and Luigi commandeering their own sailing ship, in order to explore an all-new world. An entire new world dotted with islands of adventure. All in their quest to return to the Mushroom Kingdom.

Amid all the excitement, some gamers are still not excited though. With one player stating, “It’s only like the 6th Mario or Mario-adjacent game this year… I’m still interested, but I’m so sick of the Mushroom Kingdom overload at this point.” But, none of that has stopped the rest of twitterverse (or is it xverse now) from celebrating this announcement.

This highly anticipated, cel-shaded game will be released exclusively on the Nintendo Switch.

PC gamers like myself, keep hopelessly hoping that one day, Nintendo will bring Mario to Steam. Sigh. But, that’s an extremely unlikely event. One many never expect to see, ever. Nevertheless, today’s announcement has brought a smile of hordes of Mario fans. I personally can’t wait to see if Sonic Team’s next installment will compete with Are you ready for Mario & Luigi: Brothership! Can Shadow x Sonic, outshine Mario & Luigi, this year? What do you think?
