Ubisoft, the AAAA game studio we once dearly loved has lost most of its support. Like most big video game studios, Ubisoft has made a series of seemingly greed-driven changes to their games. This dislikement has now reached rock bottom, if recent suspicions could be believed. Many gamers found Ubisoft’s latest YouTube trailer littered with suspiciously positive comments. Did Ubisoft buy YouTube bots?
The alleged bot comments have now been deleted, but there were hundreds of them.
But, the people who saw those comments re not letting this one slide. One gamer said, “You guys noticing the “pretty girl” bots defending Ubisoft are all created a month apart.” Followed by another commenting saying, “Looks like Ubisoft deleted all the bot comments because they were getting exposed.”
This sad state of affairs has left many pitying Ubisoft, “imagine being a “quadruple A” company and needing to do bot comments.”
The love that used to be there between Ubisoft and the gaming community went sour after the moves they made into live service games. Which meant the end of “game ownership.” One YouTuber said, “Remember when Ubisoft said not to get comfortable owning games? We should just get use to not buying theirs.” The sentiments were echoed by other user who also added, “Ubislop please get comfortable with people not owning your games and go bankrupt already.”
Did Ubisoft buy YouTube bots? We might never know for sure, but all signs seem to say – yes!
