A list of 5 enjoyable games with bots

Published on

If it wasn’t for bots, we would need 11 joypads, and 11 gamers to make-up a single football team. Or worse, we would need 22 people to be online (at once) per each match. And, that’s not so easy, in an age where even 5 v 5 games are starting to struggle with matchmaking. Luckily, bots allow you to instantly have teammates to pass the ball to, and a goalie in your nets. Plus, without bots, we wouldn’t have computer opponents to punch and fight against in Street Fighter. So, in celebration of bots and their crucial role in the game industry, here is a list of games with bots.

Best games with bots

1. Car racing game with bots

Gas Guzzlers Extreme – the game is currently available for around US$2 on G2A. Which is a site that I have used more years now, with no issues. Grab yourself a copy now! It’s an insanely fun game, with tons of action and explosive vehicular combat.

2. Card games that have bots

Artifact – Sigh, where do I begin. This game had some horrible PR issues which subsequently killed it, but its still there on Steam. Free, and playable VS bots. And if you see a bot that you really enjoy going up against, you can copy its ID number, and paste it in again whenever you want to play against that bot.

3. Fighting games with bots

DRAGON BALL FighterZ – Pretty much every fighting game allows you to go up against bots. And in most games, you can even tune up the difficulty level. So, for those that never grabbed DRAGON BALL FighterZ, get it now! Or better yet, wait for one of the many Steam sales.

4. Which is the best football game on PC?

eFootball – this may only be my opinion, but eFootball (formerly Pro Evolution Soccer) only suffered because of a lack of official licenses. As a game, FIFA had pretty much all the big name clubs locked-down in agreements. But, licenses aside, Pro Evolution Soccer is/was a good game.

5. The best party game with friends or bots?

Boomerang Fu – This game was made by an amazing indie studio, and its a lot of fun! With friends (couch gaming) or alone, with bots, for those of us without friends.

Conclusion

Thank you very much for visiting my blog! I am very passionate about video games with bots, and the game devs who make such games. Especially games with offline bots! Games that can be played without needing to worry about servers being shutdown.

If you are a game developer who would like me to checkout one of your games (with bots), reach out, and I’ll be very happy to do a review. And if I missed any of your favourite games with bots, write them down in the comments section below. I’d loved to hear from you all.
