As games continue to be killed off by dev studios all over the world. It’s very rare for any of those games to ever come back. But, against all odds, Battleborn has been brought back by some devoted fans. Battleborn is truly back!
Sadly, if you are reading this blog article then the chances are – you are one of the fans that already knew this. Because, Battleborn has been back for a while. Through an ever-improving, offline, fan mod being called Battleborn Reborn.
Admittedly, when I initially discovered this mode a while back (last year, I think). It stopped working for me, and wouldn’t always be guaranteed to boot each time I tried. But now, the game runs really well. The mod actually works, better than before! The improvements are phenomenal.
I shall try my best to keep on eye on this offline game (versus bots). Because, it stands as a true testimony to how important it is for dev studios to make offline games! Games with bots. Good bots. I mean, imagine that – An always-online game that got shutdown more than 4 years ago, is now playable versus bots. Through the continued efforts of extremely dedicated fans.
If you are a solo game dev or bid dev studio owner, don’t ever let yourself be deceived. Always remember that – The world steal needs offline games/game-modes with bots (really good bots).
Long live Battleborn Reborn.
